A new selection of Pokemon can be restored from all primary classes of ??? DNAs (maps, battles, mines) as well as from Chat DNAs!

Tip: ??? DNAs are a mysterious type of Pokemon DNA found randomly while searching the Legendary Areas, battling, mining, or chatting on the cbox. They can also be earned from Daily Prize chests. Visit the DNA Center to restore DNAs — you require 3 DNAs of a particular type to restore a Pokemon back to life.

February 27: Star Shop Update!

The Pokemon area of the Star Shop has been overhauled with all-new Pokemon to buy with your Star Points! Thanks to Kora ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ for her help with this overhaul, and thanks to CryptoMoo for re-releasing DarkGastly!

Tip: Star Points are a currency exclusively earned from Daily Prize Chests.

Notice: ??? DNA Expiry Soon


Some time within the next 2 weeks (on or possibly before March 13th), the following classes of ??? DNAs will expire if you own more than 5 in a given category:

- ??? Map DNAs
- ??? Battle DNAs
- ??? Mining DNAs

If you hold more than 5 DNAs in one of the mentioned classes, the surplus DNAs will be deleted. For example, if you have x6 battle DNAs, the 1 extra DNA will be deleted, leaving you with 5 thereafter.

Visit the DNA Center to determine which ??? DNAs you own as well as how many, and to restore DNAs back to life. ??? DNAs will be clearly labeled as such. As usual, you require 3 DNAs of the same class and Platinum Coins to restore a Pokemon back to life.

To clarify: you will still be able to own more than 5 DNAs after this date, but if you own more than 5 DNAs once the new DNA rotation is released, the extra will be deleted. DNA expiry typically happens once every few months. As always, Cbox and Daily Prize DNAs are unaffected.

February 25: God's Dream Takeover!

For unknown reasons, God's Dream has been raided by Pokemon from interstellar space! President Pichu is calling upon all Pokemon Trainers to investigate and see what's going on!


Thanks to ★ Itachi Uchiha, Robin, and christie for banding up to make this happen, as well as to Sherwood for donating for one of the new releases! Note: This map takeover will last somewhere between 3 and 5 months. Very specific, we know! We will provide a definitive date in the coming weeks.

February 24: Back to the Past - Ruins of Alph!

After millennia veiled in darkness, a completely new yet familiar map has opened for exploration: Ruins of Alph! While this may be Pokemon Eclipse's newest map, it's also one of the most ancient areas known to man and Pokemon alike. Shrouded in shadow for thousands of years following a terrible struggle, Ruins of Alph has been lost to history until now thanks to a keen enigmatologist! Initial reports rave about the teeming and lively ecosystem within the ruins, even including accounts of encounters with Pokemon once thought to be extinct! Embark to Ruins of Alph and uncover the secret of the ruins!!


A huge thanks to Arrow Fang for donating for the initial conception of this map many years ago, and many additional thanks for their unparalleled patience! It also happens to be their 6th year on Pokemon Eclipse as they joined Feb 24 2016, so be sure to wish them a happy Eclipsiversary!!

Note: Just to be clear, this map is a permanent addition to Pokemon Eclipse and is available to all players!

The Malevolent Pokemon RainbowGalaxyGalarianMoltres has descended upon Enigma Island, shrouding it in darkness even more mysterious than the island itself! Thanks to Skulliday for this release!!

February 11: Notice Regarding Boosts During Valentine's Event

It's almost time for the Valentine's 2022 Seillib Event! Note that you must register with a partner by February 14th to participate in this event, so make sure to signup if you haven't!


To keep the event fair, please be advised that starting February 14th and ending February 21st, boosts can only be scheduled to begin at midnight Eclipse Time ("reset"). This means that if you donate for a boost at 9pm, you will have to wait until 12am (three hours) for it to begin, or schedule it for another day. In other words, no boosts can be started in the middle the of the day during the event. The current Eclipse Time can be found on the right navigation under "Information" or via the Stats page.

February 6: Icebound Shmicebound!

In a stunning turn of events, Icebound Cave has been overrun by multitudinous Pokemon from the North Pole, transforming it into Coalbound Cave! Rumors have it this atrocity was committed by none other than Kris Kringle, most well-known by his gang name, Santa Claus. Head to Coalbound Cave and put a stop to Santa before it's too late!

Finally, in case you missed it, a small QoL update: the Moon Shop, Mine Shop, and SSM Shop each have a new link under [ Most Recent ], labeled [ Going Unob ]. That link only displays shop Pokemon with an end date, ordered chronologically (from soonest to farthest in the future).

January 16: Mine Shop + Rare Mine Pokemon Update!

A slew of new Pokemon are up for purchase on the Mine Shop, and new Rare Mining Pokemon can be found while mining: RubyGalaxyDratini, PearlGalaxyClobbopus, RainbowGenesisGalaxySuicune, GenesisGalaxyEntei, and AstralGenesisGalaxyRaikou!

Tip: The Rare Mining Pokemon can be found randomly while mining! However, as the name suggests, encountering them is very rare. Good luck to all miners!
